Softball Game Preview: Putnam County Panthers vs. Hall Red Devils + How To Watch

Putnam County is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Hall a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The Putnam County Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hall Red Devils at 4:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Putnam County fell victim to Princeton and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 11-0.

Meanwhile, Hall also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 11-0 to Kewanee on Tuesday.

Putnam County's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Hall, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.

Putnam County was able to grind out a solid win over Hall when the teams last played back in April of 2025, winning 9-4. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Red Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
