Basketball Recap: Jack Naegle's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Shipley over George School

Shipley lost to George School back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Shipley took a 66-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of George School.

Shipley's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jack Naegle, who went 8-for-14 to rack up 20 points along with six assists and six rebounds. Naegle is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Drew Naegle, who posted 15 points.

Shipley's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for George School, their win bumped their record up to 8-14.

Looking ahead, Shipley will venture away from home to challenge Mercersburg Academy on Friday. Shipley will need to watch out since the Storm have now posted at least 55 points in their last seven matchups. George School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
