After a string of seven wins, Troy's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Salado Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Trojans have suffered since November 7, 2024.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-11, 25-14.

Skylar Workman paced Troy's offense, picking up five kills. Workman got some help from Aubree Brashear and her five assists. Brashear also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Cadence Negron, racking up four apiece.

Troy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Salado, their win bumped their record up to 17-12.

Coming up, Troy will challenge Jonesboro at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Salado, they will head out to take on Cedar Park at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
