Basketball Recap: Frank J. Macchiarola Comes Up Short

Frank J. Macchiarola lost against Wingate back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Frank J. Macchiarola Sharks fell 50-43 to the Wingate Generals. The contest marked the Sharks' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Frank J. Macchiarola's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Wingate, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Frank J. Macchiarola will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Banneker Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Wingate will take on Brooklyn Prospect in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Brooklyn Prospect knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Wingate likes a good challenge.
