Soccer Recap: Hume-Fogg Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Hume-Fogg's offense. They came up short against the South-Doyle Cherokees on Wednesday, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Hume-Fogg can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 61st, while South-Doyle are ranked 19th).

Hume-Fogg's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5-4. As for South-Doyle, they pushed their record up to 17-1-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Hume-Fogg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South-Doyle, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Fulton on the 22nd.
