Basketball Recap: Russellville Comes Up Short

Russellville was the 50-48 winner over Blair Oaks when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Russellville Indians fell to the Blair Oaks Falcons 43-37. The contest marked the Indians' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Russellville has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points per game. As for Blair Oaks, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Russellville will head out to face off against Linn at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Blair Oaks, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Blair Oaks Falcons face off against the Vienna Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
