Football Recap: Pendleton/Nixyaawii Community Falls Short of Cascade in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pendleton/Nixyaawii Community can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 42-14 loss at the hands of the Cascade Cougars. While losing is never fun, the Buckaroos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon football rankings (they are ranked 96th, while the Cougars are ranked ninth).

Pendleton/Nixyaawii Community dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Cascade, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

As of now, neither Pendleton/Nixyaawii Community nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
