Volleyball Recap: Caitlyn West and Raegen John Secure Win for Canon City

Canon City entered their tilt with Widefield on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Gladiators. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Canon City had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-13.

Canon City was led to victory by Raegen John and Caitlyn West. John had 22 digs and seven aces, while West had 14 digs and 11 assists. With that strong performance, John is now averaging an impressive 2 aces per game.

They weren't the only good servers: Canon City was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.
