Basketball Recap: Columbia Comes Up Short

Columbia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 60-54 heartbreaker at the hands of the Eastern York Golden Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Crimson Tide of the 67-47 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2025.

Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Eastern York, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-9.

Looking ahead, Columbia will take on Lancaster Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Eastern York, they will face off against Kennard-Dale at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
