Magnificat had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bishop Watterson Eagles. This was payback for the Blue Streaks, who suffered a 2-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Magnificat had a senior duo take command as Gia Florio had 25 assists and four digs and Lindsey Murphy had nine digs and two aces. Florio is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 22 every time she's taken the court this season.

Magnificat's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Bishop Watterson, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Magnificat has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Seton on the 22nd. As for Bishop Watterson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Mentor on the 22nd.
