Basketball Recap: Tri-Cities Christian Falls Despite Big Games from Faith Greene and Emery Haws

On Wednesday, the Tri-Cities Christian Eagles were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 62-58 to the TPLS Christian Academy Lions.

Emery Haws and Faith Greene certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Haws shot 40% from the field en route to 19 points, while Greene posted 19 points. The match was Haws' fifth in a row with at least 16 points. Ella Jaworski was another key player, putting up no points and 16 rebounds.

Even though they lost, Tri-Cities Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. This was only their fifth loss (out of 19 games) when they've passed the ball that well.

Tri-Cities Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 15-12. As for TPLS Christian Academy, they moved to 6-21 with that win, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

As of now, neither Tri-Cities Christian nor TPLS Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
