Recap: Prosser Mustangs vs. Selah Vikings
The Prosser Mustangs fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came out on top against Selah by a score of 20-13 on Friday. That's two games straight that Prosser has won by exactly seven points.
Prosser's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Havic Prieto, who picked up 119 receiving yards and a touchdown. Prieto was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 63 yards. Isaac Montejano and his 89 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Prosser's win.
Prosser now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Selah, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 2-7.
Prosser does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Selah will head out on the road to face off against Pullman at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
