Baseball Recap: Cascade Comes Up Short

Cascade was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 20-1 to the Chelan Mountain Goats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mountain Goats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-1 back in March.

Cascade saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Teddy Everson, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Cascade's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Chelan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Mountain Goats beat Cascade by a score of 12-0 later that day.
