Baseball Recap: Little Rock Southwest Comes Up Short

Little Rock Southwest lost against Jonesboro back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Gryphons came up short against the Hurricane, falling 18-3. The Gryphons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aj Vernon made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Little Rock Southwest's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Jonesboro, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Coming up, Little Rock Southwest will venture away from home to face off against Hot Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Jonesboro, they will host Paragould at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
