Meanwhile, Almira-Coulee-Hartline made easy work of Garfield-Palouse on Saturday and carried off a 54-28 win. With the Warriors ahead 36-6 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Caden Correia had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 112 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 230 yards and four touchdowns on only 19 passes. Another player making a difference was Carter Pitts, who gained 92 total yards and two touchdowns.

Almira-Coulee-Hartline's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged three passes before it was all said and done. It was truly a group effort as Harvest Parrish, Brady Roberts, and Grayson Beal picked up one apiece. That's the most rushing yards Parrish has posted since back in September of 2023.

Liberty Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Almira-Coulee-Hartline, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Liberty Christian took a serious blow against Almira-Coulee-Hartline in their previous meeting back in September of 2021, falling 62-20. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Liberty Christian was down 48-8.
