Volleyball Recap: Frontier Takes a Loss

Frontier lost against River back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cougars came up short against the Pilots, falling 3-0.

While Frontier was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-23, 25-20.

Kelsey Dye paced Frontier's offense, picking up 11 kills. Dye got some help from Willow Smitley and her 20 assists. Finally, Dye was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Frontier's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-14. As for River, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Frontier does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for River, they have already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Strasburg-Franklin on the 15th.
