On Saturday, Tug Valley faced Tucker County in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Tug Valley Panthers enjoyed a cozy 56-39 victory over the Tucker County Mountain Lions. The win was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Despite the loss, Tucker County still got an impressive performance from Garrett Wilfong, who went 5 for 10 to rack up 11 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Marks, who posted six points.

Tug Valley's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Tucker County, their loss ended a ten-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 13-2.

Tug Valley has already played their next game, a 66-50 win against St. Joseph Central on the 4th. As for Tucker County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 70-40 victory against Moorefield on the 6th.
