Hartford waltzed into their match on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Colchester Lakers. That's more bragging rights for the Hurricanes, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hartford had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-23, 25-22, 25-14.

Hartford's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Colchester, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hartford will challenge Enosburg Falls at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Colchester, they will take on Harwood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
