After a string of four wins, Flushing's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Mercy Marlins. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Marlins when the teams met back in September of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Flushing's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Mercy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Flushing didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Anchor Bay on the 13th. As for Mercy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Okemos on the 13th.
