After losing to Beatty the last time they met, Baker decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Braves came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hornets on Saturday, sneaking past 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Braves.

Baker had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 26-28, 25-19, 15-8.

Baker's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Beatty, their loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.

Baker will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Sandy Valley at 11:00 a.m. As for Beatty, they will host Adelson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
