Brusly waltzed into their matchup on Monday with 22 straight wins... but they left with 23. They came out on top against the St. John Eagles by a score of 7-4. Seven seems to be a good number for the Panthers as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

The team relied heavily on Payten Albert, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Addison Stein, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Brusly's victory was their 11th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 27-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for St. John, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-7 record this season.
