Softball Recap: Evergreen Takes a Loss

Evergreen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lake Flyers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Vikings have suffered since April 12th.

Evergreen's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Lake, they pushed their record up to 22-3 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Flyers beat Evergreen by a score of 17-9 later that day.
