Softball Recap: Central Catholic Comes Up Short

Central Catholic's last matchup with Thibodaux could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Wednesday. The Eagles came up short against the Tigers, falling 13-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 9-7 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Central Catholic has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for Thibodaux, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-8.

As for Thibodaux, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Thibodaux Tigers duke it out with St. James Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
