Soccer Game Preview: McCormick vs. Dixie

McCormick is 0-4 against Dixie since March of 2023 but things could change on Wednesday. The McCormick Chiefs will be playing at home against the Dixie Hornets at 5:00 p.m.

After dropping their season opener at home, Dixie is headed out to face a McCormick team ready to give their home crowd a win. McCormick came up short against GREEN Upstate last Tuesday, falling 14-0.

Meanwhile, Dixie narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Emerald 3-2. John Robert Dunn had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble the Hornets got from the refs.

Brandon Nance and Joshua Beiler scored all three of Dixie's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.
