Game recap: Bonneville High School Football Team defeats Ogden

After taking the lead on a defensive touchdown in the second quarter, Bonneville (Washington Terrace, Utah) was up 6-0 at the half.

The Lakers grew their lead to 20 points entering the fourth quarter. Bonneville scored three times in the third, including once on a Kysen Hall touchdown run.

Ogden's lone touchdown came on a 15-yard pass from Cameron Mortenson to Josh Shackleford in the fourth quarter.

BHS has struggled this season, allowing 38.0 points per game.



The victory was a step in the right direction for the Washington Terrace school, which was coming off a 49-21 defeat at the hands of Box Elder in its previous game.

Bonneville (1-7) will play a 4A Region 5 game against Roy next week, while Ogden (2-6) will take on Sky View also in a 4A Region 5 game.
