Basketball Recap: KIPP Nashville Collegiate Takes a Loss

KIPP Nashville Collegiate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. The contest between the KIPP Nashville Collegiate Warriors and the LEAD Academy Panthers didn't end well, with the KIPP Nashville Collegiate Warriors falling 75-56. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 309th, while the Panthers are ranked 141st).

KIPP Nashville Collegiate's defeat dropped their record down to 11-18. As for LEAD Academy, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 20-11.

KIPP Nashville Collegiate does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for LEAD Academy, they will take on Whites Creek on Tuesday. LEAD Academy will be up against Whites Creek's rather soft defense (which has allowed 50.61 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
