Baseball Recap: Franklin Academy Drops Highest Score of Season Against NCSSM: Durham

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Franklin Academy). They put the hurt on the NCSSM: Durham Unicorns with a sharp 8-1 win on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Unicorns: they've now won seven in a row.

The team relied heavily on Jackson Denton, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Timothy Binari also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Franklin Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for NCSSM: Durham, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
