Football Game Recap: North Central vs. Carmel

North Central faced Carmel in a battle between two of the state's top teams. North Central had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it on Friday as the team lost 40-41 to Carmel. If North Central were expecting to get some payback for the 9-10 loss against Carmel the last time they met, then they were left disappointed.

The defeat dropped North Central's record to 4-2. The win bumped Carmel's record up to 5-1.

Next week North Central take on Lawrence Central at 7:00 PM. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. Carmel will look to defend their home turf against Ben Davis at 7:00 PM. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.
