            Baseball Recap: Cranston West Falcons vs. North Kingstown Skippers        
        
		
        
        
            After flying high against Mt. Hope  on Monday, Cranston West came back down to earth. The Falcons fell just short of the North Kingstown Skippers by a score of  3-2 on Wednesday. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Skippers: they've now lost nine in a row.
 Cranston West saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Chris Barboza, who  went 1-for-4 with one  stolen base and one  RBI.
Cranston West's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for North Kingstown, the  win was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-4.
 Looking ahead, Cranston West will challenge Moses Brown at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. North Kingstown will be paying especially close attention to the Falcons'  matchup: after the Falcons face off against the Quakers, they'll take on North Kingstown again  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
