Football Recap: Valley's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Valley lost against Central of Clay County back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rams fell 29-21 to the Volunteers. The loss put an end to the Rams' undefeated start to the season.

Caden Foreman threw for 118 yards and one touchdown. Malachi McCullough was his top target, picking up 55 receiving yards. On the ground, Christian Boyd rushed for 77 yards on only eight carries.

Having lost for the first time this season, Valley fell to 2-1. As for Central of Clay County, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.

Coincidentally, Valley and Central of Clay County will both be playing Marbury the next time they take the field. The Volunteers will host the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Rams will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th.
