Football Recap: East Brunswick Comes Up Short

East Brunswick lost against Hunterdon Central back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bears lost 28-7 to the Red Devils. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 276th, while the Red Devils are ranked 114th).

East Brunswick's loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Hunterdon Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. East Brunswick will venture away from home to take on Piscataway at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hunterdon Central, they will face off against Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
