Basketball Recap: Cleveland Drops Highest Score of Season Against Nicollet

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cleveland). They came out on top against the Nicollet Raiders by a score of 76-63 on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Clippers as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Cleveland's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Nicollet, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Cleveland will be playing at home against Loyola at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Loyola knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Cleveland likes a good challenge. As for Nicollet, they will head out on the road to take on Martin County West at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Martin County West has insisted on making their lastfour contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-3 during that stretch of close contests.
