Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lafayette). They never let the Bruton Panthers get on the board and left with an 8-0 win on Tuesday. Lafayette haven't had any issues with Bruton recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Lafayette's win bumped their record up to 9-3-1. As for Bruton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lafayette will host New Kent at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bruton, they will welcome West Point at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. West Point will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Bruton surely won't give up without a fight.
