Volleyball Recap: Latin Takes a Loss

Latin lost against Chicago Mt. Carmel back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Romans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Caravan.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-7.

Latin has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Chicago Mt. Carmel, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Latin will welcome Whitney Young at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Chicago Mt. Carmel, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Saint Ignatius College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on the 24th.
