Softball Recap: Harrison Takes a Loss

Harrison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Standish-Sterling Panthers, falling 15-0.

Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Standish-Sterling, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harrison will head out to square off against Gladwin at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Flying G's have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Standish-Sterling, they will head out on the road to challenge Meridian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Panthers 2.2, the Mustangs 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
