Basketball Recap: Salem Takes a Loss

Salem was the 50-31 winner over Sacred Heart when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Salem Wildcats fell 37-26 to the Sacred Heart Crusaders on Saturday.

Salem has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season. As for Sacred Heart, they moved to 2-16 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Salem has already played their next contest, a 62-31 defeat against Lumberton on the 4th. As for Sacred Heart, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 39-21 loss against East Marion on the 3rd.
