Basketball Recap: Bountiful's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

The Bountiful Redhawks ended up a good deal behind the Cedar Valley Aviators on Tuesday and lost 59-45. The loss put an end to the Redhawks' undefeated start to the season.

Despite the loss, Bountiful still got an impressive performance from Milika Satuala, who shot 44% from the field on her way to 20 points in addition to five rebounds and five steals. Satuala is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in each of the last four games she's played dating back to last season. Maleah Nelson was another key player, putting up 13 points and three steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bountiful fell to 2-1. As for Cedar Valley, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bountiful will head out to challenge Fremont at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cedar Valley, they will venture away from home to face off against Corner Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd.
