Soccer Recap: Mammoth vs. Tehachapi
Mammoth had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Tehachapi Warriors on Thursday. The Huskies had to overcome some adversity as Julian Alvarado and Cris Hernandez were both handed red cards.
Leonel Ramirez Elizarraras and Hernandez scored all three of Mammoth's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mammoth will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Frazier Mountain at 5:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025. As for Tehachapi, they will challenge Porterville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
