Soccer Recap: Chicago Academy Gets the Win

Chicago Academy saw some tournament action on Saturday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Proviso East Pirates 2-1.

Bryan Juarez was the driving force of Chicago Academy's attack as he scored both of Chicago Academy's goals, bringing his season total up to 11 goals.

Chicago Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-0-1. As for Proviso East, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Chicago Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Rickover Naval at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be Chicago Academy's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Proviso East, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Addison Trail at 6:30 p.m. on September 9.
