Basketball Recap: Duane Fears' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Global Concepts over Finney

It was fun while it lasted, but Global Concepts's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Saturday. They lost to the Finney Falcons on the road by a 65-47 margin. The loss was the Gators' first of the season.

Global Concepts lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Duane Fears, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds. Ahmad Bah was another key player, putting up seven points and nine boards.

Even though they lost, Global Concepts smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in nine consecutive games dating back to last season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Global Concepts fell to 3-1. As for Finney, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
