There's no place like home for Napa, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Wood Wildcats on Friday. The Grizzlies haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Mason Rozalski spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Gabe Reyes was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Camden Aaen, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Napa's victory bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Wood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Napa will welcome American Canyon at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wood, they will be playing at home against Rodriguez at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season.
