Basketball Recap: Central Gwinnett Falls Short of Chapel Hill in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Central Gwinnett can now relate to. They fell to the Chapel Hill Panthers 70-64.

Despite the loss, Central Gwinnett still got an impressive performance from Josiah Hall, who en route to 27 points. What's more, Hall also posted a 69% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Denovian Flowers was another key player, on his way to 17 points and five assists.

Central Gwinnett dropped their record down to 15-14 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Chapel Hill, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.
