Basketball Recap: Frankfort Has No Trouble Against East Fairmont

Frankfort lost to East Fairmont back in February of 2015, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Frankfort Falcons took down the East Fairmont Bees 67-49. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

When it comes to explaining why East Fairmont lost, don't look at Austin Taylor. Despite the final result, he shot 47% from the field to rack up 21 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Taylor a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of River Mcclain, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 11 points.

Frankfort's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for East Fairmont, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Frankfort is taking a road trip to square off against East Hardy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Hardy will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Frankfort surely won't give up without a fight. As for East Fairmont, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 48-41 defeat against Buckhannon-Upshur on the 3rd.
