Basketball Recap: Custer County Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Lockwood

On Saturday, Custer County faced Lockwood in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Custer County Cowboys fell 51-39 to the Lockwood LIONS. The Cowboys were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the LIONS earlier this season, when they won 57-49.

Custer County's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Lockwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.
