Westerville South kept a clean sheet against Briggs on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over the Bruins. That five goal margin sets a new team best for Westerville South this season.

They hit Briggs with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gino Borghese (2), Kai Smith-Emrich, Owen Jaruta, and Oliver Quisumbing.

Westerville South pushed their record up to 4-8-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three matchups. As for Briggs, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8-2 record this season.
