Basketball Game Preview: Walsh Jesuit Warriors vs. Ellet Orangemen

Two dominant guards in Kara Esterak and Caitlyn Holmes are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Walsh Jesuit Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Ellet Orangemen at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Walsh Jesuit will be strutting in after a win while Ellet will be coming in after a loss.

Last Saturday, Walsh Jesuit didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Springfield, but they still walked away with a 38-33 victory.

Walsh Jesuit got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Leah Sobolewski out in front who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 boards. Another player making a difference was Esterak, who posted 12 points and three steals.

Walsh Jesuit smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Springfield only pulled down six offensive boards.

Meanwhile, Ellet didn't have quite enough to beat Streetsboro on Friday and fell 70-68.

Walsh Jesuit's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Ellet, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-2.
