Softball Game Preview: Providence Academy Lions vs. Central Raiders

The Providence Academy Lions will face off against the Central Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Providence Academy will be strutting in after a win while Central will be coming in after a defeat.

Providence Academy will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Tuesday, then bounced right back against West Lutheran on Wednesday. The Lions put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 13-5 victory. Considering the Lions have won eight games by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Central didn't have quite enough to beat Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted on Thursday and fell 4-3. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Providence Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-7-1. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.
