Basketball Game Preview: Granite Bay Grizzlies vs. Folsom Bulldogs

Granite Bay is 0-10 against Folsom since April of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Granite Bay Grizzlies will host the Folsom Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m.

Granite Bay is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Jesuit on Wednesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Granite Bay came up short against Jesuit, falling 75-51. While losing is never fun, the Grizzlies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 426th, while the Marauders are ranked 63rd).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Folsom, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat Davis Sr. 76-28. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 21 points or more this season.

Folsom's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-3. As for Granite Bay, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-17.
