McEwen was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They secured a 20-14 W over the Perry County Vikings. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win made it two in a row for McEwen and bumps their season record up to 5-2. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 2-6 Collinwood and 3-5 Perry County. As for Perry County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
