Soccer Recap: Spring Comes Up Short

Spring was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-8 heartbreaker at the hands of the Randle Lions. Emily Mendez is probably feeling rather frustrated with she team right now: they lost despite she posting seven goals.

Spring's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Randle, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spring will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Cypress Falls at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Randle, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Randle take on the Nimitz at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
